Our History
Partners and co-founders Bill Pieniadz and John Heller founded P&H Construction in 1979. Before the company’s launch, the Montville High School classmates worked odd jobs and small contracting work in the area. This led them to recognize a need for a more reliable, professional, and superior-quality workmanship and service for their town and beyond. Though years have gone by and our company has grown in incredible ways, we haven’t forgotten the values we were founded on and we’re proud to carry them with us in every service we offer and extend them to every client we meet.
P&H’s notable projects throughout the last 40 years range from small residential projects and road construction to collegiate sports facilities and infrastructure. We’ve worked with renowned commercial accounts such as Connecticut College, Rand Whitney, Mohegan Sun, Sonalysts, and many others. Our residential customers rely on us along the shoreline from Old Saybrook to Westerly, and north to Woodstock.
